I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lake Greenwood, SC with some wonderful friends. Located in a town called “ninty-six”, this lake has 212 miles of shoreline, is approx. 11,400 acres and was formed by a hydroelectric dam across the Saluda River. The drive from Hilton Head Island took about 3 hours and some change, and was a pleasant one. The amenities were fantastic and the lake was beautiful! What a great place to relax. I hope to get back soon.
